VICTOR A. MAILE, JR.

VICTOR A. MAILE, JR. ~ of Batavia, age 76, died peacefully Saturday morning April 27, 2019 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born in Batavia on October 23, 1942, to the late Victor A. and Mary (Fiorella) Maile, Sr. also preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria Castle and a brother, Butch Maile.

Vic served honorably in the US Army and worked for the Rochester Laborers Union for many years. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Sherre (White) Maile of Batavia; sons, Ross of CA and Nick of Caledonia; daughter, Nicole (Chris) Hausfelder of Linden; step-children, Laura (Peter) Koepp of Basom, Rene Jaccoud of Batavia, David Olverd of FL and Eric (Julie) Olverd of Batavia; sister, JoAnn (James) Messera of FL; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson along with several nieces and nephews.

Vic’s family will be present from 10-12:30p.m. on Friday May 10, 2019 at the MICHAEL S. TOMASZEWSKI FUNERAL & CREMATION CHAPEL, LLC 4120 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where a Celebration of Life service will immediately follow. Memorials in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice
