Jacqueline D. Hough, 93 of Warsaw, NY, passed away on Thursday July 4, 2019 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing facility in Warsaw where she had been residing. She was born in Buffalo, NY on February 25, 1926 a daughter to the late John Edward and Mabel M. (Court) Decker. She is preceded in death by her husband: James A. Hough who passed away on Jan. 13, 2001, siblings John (Sue) Decker, Robert (Joanne) Decker and Thelma (Walter) Martin, 2 great grandchildren: Alexisia Crawford and Emily Wolfe.

She was a 1944 graduate of Grover Cleveland High School in Buffalo. Jackie worked for Robeson Cutlery in Perry and later for Mallory timers in Warsaw for over 30 years retiring from them at their closing in 1986. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Perry Center where she taught Sunday school, was the church clerk since 1964 and sung in the church choir. Jackie loved to bake, many who knew her called her the “Cake Lady” she made decorative cake for all occasions.

She is survived by a son Kevin (Kay) Hough of Warsaw, 6 grandchildren: Vicki (Paul) Hinsken, Derrick Hough, Alicia (Gene) Huff, Trisha (Matthew) Wolfe, Bridgette Flint, Barbara (Christopher) Kribbs, 16 great grandchildren: Austin, Kallie, Mason and Dylan Hinsken, Joshua and Aiden Hough, Autumn and Matthew Huff, Leanne Wolfe, Nikita and Kylee Hess, Micaela Van Buren, Jesika, Brock and Christie Jones, NovaLea Kribbs, 1 great great grandson: Brayden Hinsken, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends may call from 11am-3pm on Saturday July 13th at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, NY 14530. Funeral services will be held on Sunday July 14th at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center.
