Oakfield – Caroline A. Beach, 94, of Oakfield, an assembler at General Motors Corp. in Rochester, died on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at her home while under Homecare and Hospice.
Mrs. Beach was born November 2, 1924 in Oakfield, a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary (Ballon) Halat.
She was a member of St. Padre Pio Parish, St. Cecelia’s Site.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene F. Beach, whom she married in 1952; a brother, Leon (Lillian) Halat of Oakfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Sandra Mary Beach who passed away on May 21, 1993 and was the sister of the late Alphonso, Ray and Joseph Halat and Irene Cecere.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Ave. in Oakfield where prayers will be recited at 9 a.m. on Thursday. Caroline’s Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Cecelia’s Site, 56 Maple Ave. in Oakfield.
