Violet A. Seweryniak

Corfu - Violet A. Seweryniak, 80, of Corfu, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Batavia.

Violet was born September 24, 1938, in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Kroll) Mutka.

Violet was a former member of the Alden Art Society and was an avid reader who loved using her computer and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Leon J. Seweryniak; a daughter, Lisa Joan Seweryniak; brothers, Robert (late Bernadine) Mutak and Phillip Mutka; sisters, Helen (Ken) Kwitzer, Carol (late Henry) Klein and Diane (Ronald) Benzel and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.       

Violet is the mother of the late John Seweryniak and sister of the late Richard Mutak, Frank Mutka and Elizabeth Lewandowski.

There will be no prior calling hours.  Violet's Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3 at St. Maximillion Kolbe Parish, 8656 Church Street, East Pembroke.  Violet will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Batavia in a private ceremony.
