Bruce M. Bernard, 81, of Perry, NY passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home in Perry. Bruce was born in Perry, NY on April 3, 1938 a son of the late Martin and Roberta (Bates) Bernard. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Judith A. Bernard who passed away on August 29, 2019; a son Bruce who passed away in 2008, siblings Marilyn, Norman and Donald.
Bruce served with the US Air Force. He worked for Graham’s in Batavia and later retired from Brockport Sand and Gravel. He was a member of the former Perry Moose Lodge and the Perry Vets Club. Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing and welding stuff around the home.
He is survived by daughter: Sheila (Nathaniel) Boyd of Caledonia, son: Douglas (Barb) Bernard of Conesus, daughter-in-law: Jennifer Bernard of Perry, sister: Bonnie (Melvin) Huff of Perry, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends may call from 9:00AM-12:00PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, NY 14530 where Funeral Services will follow at 12pm at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry, New York.
