LUCILE M. (NORTON) LESSORD ~ Age 94, of Batavia, died Wednesday September 11, 2019 at the NYS Veterans Home @ Batavia. She was born in Middlebury, NY on December 24, 1924, a daughter of the late Lloyd B. and Lila M. (Fullington) Akin also preceded in death by children, Donna, Alton, Gregory and David Norton; brother, Lloyd Akin, Jr. and sister-in-law, Sandy Manley.
Lucille was an active member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, David Lessord of Batavia; children, Judith Harding of Batavia, Donald (Sue) Norton of Batavia, Suzanne (Charles) Crosley of Warsaw and Kenneth (Patty) Norton of LeRoy; sister-in-law, Rhoda Beabout of Brockport; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren with 2 more arriving soon; several nieces and nephews.
Lucile’s family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday September 28, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall 3601 West Main Street Road Batavia, New York 14020 where funeral services will begin at 3p.m. Memorials in her memory can be made to the Society of Jehovah’s Witnesses c/o of the Kingdom Hall.
