Ronald Michael Koch

Stafford - Ronald Michael Koch, 73, of Stafford, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Ronald was born August 8, 1946, in Batavia, a son of the late Elon and Leonna (Ewert) Koch.

Ronald worked as a computer systems analyst for Lapp Insulator in LeRoy for 25 years and for 15 years with Specialized Printed Forms in Caledonia.  Along with his wife, Ruth, they owned and operated R and R Computer Systems.  Ron enjoyed golfing and was the secretary for 20 years for the LeRoy Golf League.  He mowed lawns at Terry Hills Golf Course and was a veteran serving with the United States Army. 

Survivors include his wife, Ruth (Rykert) Koch of Stafford, who together celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2019.  Ronald is also survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Michelle) Koch of Rochester, Brian (Susan) Koch of Bergen, Kevin (Brandi) Koch of Caledonia and Steven (Deidre Fogell) Koch of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren, Christopher (Sheri) Fisher, Ashley (Justin) Statt, Alyssa Koch, Danielle Koch, Derek Koch, Tyler Koch and Cecelia Koch; great-grandchildren, Giovanna, Beau and Lena; a brother, John Koch of Alexander; a sister, Sandra (Charles Curry) Koch of Hunt and several nieces and nephews. 

Ronald is a brother of the late Donald Koch. 

Calling hours are Friday, November 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia where military honors will be rendered at 5:00 p.m.  Family and friends are then invited to the Morganville United Church of Christ in the reception hall, 8466 Morganville Road, Stafford at 5:30 p.m. for a reception and a time of fellowship.

Memorial contributions in Ronald's memory may be made to the Koch family.
