Georgeia Defoe, 85 of Batavia, has gone to be with the LORD on November 2, 2019.

She was born September 4, 1934 in Batavia, NY.

She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Defoe; her mom, Margaret Washburn-Starkweather; brother, Vern Washburn and her youngest daughter, Dawn Defoe.

She was a wonderful mom to her 5 children and 2 stepchildren.

Survivors include a son, Douglas (Pam) Scott of Corfu; daughters, Donna Scott of Batavia, Diane (Norman) Sheffer of Caledonia, Debora (Dave) Howe of Corfu, Diana Cooley of Batavia and Lenora Shepard of Batavia. A sister, Pauline Dunlap of Georgia and a brother, Kerry Washburn of Chicago. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share in her Celebration of Life on Saturday (November 9th), 1pm at One Church, 6 Scotland Rd, Akron, NY 14001.
