Donald M. Brown, age 84, of Silver Springs, NY passed away on Saturday November 9, 2019 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Perry, New York on March 3, 1935 a son to the late Merle and Clarice (Larrison) Brown. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 sons: Donald Brown who passed away in 1984 and Douglas Brown who passed away in 2006.

Don worked for Morton Salt in Silver Springs for 13 years, he was a machinist for Lapp Insulator in LeRoy for 28 years retiring in 1994. He returned back to work driving bus for Livingston-Wyoming ARC for 20 years retiring in 2015. He was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Mary’s Church) in Silver Springs and the 5 Point Rod and Gun Club in Wyoming where he enjoyed trap shooting. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Stacia (Kowasz) Brown whom he married on April 23, 1955, a son: David (Barbara) Brown of Silver Springs, 2 daughter-in-laws: Mary (C Thomas) Reagan of Warsaw, Kimberley (Scott) Brown-Webster of Silver Springs, sister: Nancy (Steve) Larsen of N. Dakota, 2 sister-in-laws: Antoinette (Robert) Blanc and Sally Kowasz both of Perry, 4 grandchildren: Colin (Emily) Reagan, Sheri, Dustin, and Zachary Brown, 3 step grandchildren: Beth Reagan, Mike (Cynthia) Anderson, Donnyle Washburn and Kim (Peter) Reiser, 1 great granddaughter: Willow Reagan, 8 step great grandchildren, cousin: Carol (Cliff) Scott of Castile, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation. An 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 13, 2019 at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Mary’s Church) in Silver Springs. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Silver Springs, NY.
