By Joshua Smith

COLUMBUS, MS - Deborah K. Dibble, 50, of Columbus, Mississippi, formerly of Batavia, passed away Thursday, (November 14, 2019), at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus.

Mrs. Dibble was born February 27, 1969, in Batavia, a daughter of Linda (Motz) Wright of New Mexico and the late Jan Filer.

Debbi was a paralegal and for a time worked as a real estate agent.  She loved spending time with her one and only son and three grandsons above all.  However, she enjoyed making things look great - she could be described as an interior decorator, and her love of cooking led her to be known as a food artist as well.  In addition, Debbi liked to shop and travel.

She is survived by her husband, Todd Dibble, of Columbus, Mississippi; her son, Pasquale (Justina) Rapone of Corfu; three grandsons, Carter J., Mason J., and Brayden L. Rapone; a sister, Shauna (Brendan) Blake of Bryon.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Deborah is preceded in death by her step-father, Al Sherman.

Friends may call from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia where Deborah's Funeral Service will be held on Friday (Nov. 22, 2019) at 10:00 AM.  Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Deborah's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Please leave a condolence, share a story, or light a candle at www.bataviafuneralhomes.com.
