Wilma E. Kelly

  Wilma E. Kelly, age 92 of Perry passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Wilma was born in Orangeville, New York on July 29, 1927 a daughter to the late Glen W. and Leilah L. (Spink) Wolfe. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Donald P. Kelly who passed away in 1992, and 2 brothers: Paul and Francis Wolfe.

She was the salutatorian for the Warsaw High School class of 1944. Wilma worked for several different employers staring with the ration board in Warsaw during World War II, the Department of Labor in the unemployment office in Warsaw, secretary of admissions at Geneseo State college, bookkeeper for Kelly Motors, and part owner with her late husband at Kelly’s Garage in Perry Center working well into her 80’s. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Perry Center and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star in Perry. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, baking and was an excellent cook. She loved all animals especially her pets at home.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Susan (Daniel Onisk) Kelly of Orangeville, Paula Kelly of Perry, 3 sons: Michael (Glenda) Kelly, Karl (Kathy) Kelly and John Kelly all of Perry, 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law: Joyce, Lois and Grace “Joanne” Kelly all of Perry and a niece: Patsy Wolfe, along with many friends.

Family and friends may call from 2:30-4:30pm on Sunday January 19, 2020 at the First Congregational Church 7205 Rt 20A in Perry Center where Funeral Services will follow at 4:30PM.  She will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center.
