Tosca Ida Biscaro

Tosca Ida Biscaro of Akron, NY and Boynton Beach, FL passed peacefully in San Ramon, CA on Monday evening, January 13, 2020.

She was born on June 24, 1929 in Clarence Center, NY one of five children to the late Carlo and Dora Biscaro.

After high school she moved to NYC where she attended Traphagen School of Design to become a dress designer and began work at Singer Corporation. She then worked in the medical field as a secretary until her retirement to Florida. She loved spending time with her family and friends, working in the garden growing flowers and vegetables, and later in life returned to enjoy one of her original hobbies as a child, creating dress designs for paper dolls.

She was predeceased by her sister Elda (Biscaro) Burton and her nephew Renato Macor.

Survivors include sisters, Lina (Biscaro) Macor and Louise (Biscaro) Rusnak; brother, Carlo Biscaro; brother in-law, Ed Rusnak; her niece, Vicky (Rusnak) Mikell and nephew, Ed Rusnak all formerly from Akron. Other nieces and nephews include John Burton, Jeff Burton, Paul Macor, Peter Macor, Anna (Macor) Palma, Matthew Biscaro and Nina (Biscaro) Lota.

Family and friends are invited on Friday, July 3rd at 10:00 am for a Celebration of Life at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church at 5771 Buell Street, Akron. Followed by interment at St. Teresa of Avila Cemetery and a gathering at the family home in Akron.

Memorial contributions may be offered in her name to the Paralyzed Veterans of America at www.pva.org , or a charity of your choice. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at: www.mcandrewfuneralhomes.net.
