Isaac M. Styer “Ike”, 40 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (January 29, 2020) after a courageous and faithful battle with cancer

He was born September 10, 1979, in Batavia, NY, a son of James and Margaret Overfield Styer.

Ike was a loving, devoted husband and father who, by example, led his family trusting in the Lord. Anyone who knew Ike was inspired by his humble and genuine disposition. He was a lineman for Asplundh Tree Company and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Batavia. His involvement with his church was very important to him, especially being part of “Joshua’s Men” and the Grace Warriors children's ministry. He was a member of the 1997 graduating class of LeRoy High School, where he played on the 1995 NYS State Champion Football Team. He was also a loyal Buffalo Bills and Phillies fan.

Surviving besides his parents, is his beloved wife, Jennifer Macklem Styer of Batavia. Cherished children, Chastin Styer and Hailey Styer. Sisters, Judy (Lou) Kalogirou, Kathy (Ouajih) Allam, Peggy (Ron) Paladino, Linda Styer and brother Tom Styer. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Monday (February 3rd) from 5-8pm at the Grace Baptist Church, 238 Vine St., Batavia, where a funeral service will be Tuesday at 11am. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
