Glenn R. Frier

BATAVIA - Glenn R. Frier, 83, of Batavia, passed away Wednesday, (February 26, 2020), at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

Mr. Frier was born November 29, 1936, in Ellenburg, a son of the late Ernest and Iva (Miller) Frier.

Glenn was a retiree of Lapp Insulator and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and woodworking.

He is the husband of the late Jessie E. (Meyers) Frier who passed away on April 5, 2015.

Survivors include his children, Kathleen (James) Grasby of LeRoy, Deborah (Douglas) Brown of Cowlesville, and Bradley Frier of Batavia; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Sidney Cree of Shelby.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Glenn is preceded in death by his siblings, Cloyce Frier, Herman Frier, Iola Cree, Victor Frier, and Kathleen Frier.

There will be no visitation.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Mr. Frier will be laid to rest with his wife in Grand View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Glenn's memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Dav Chapter 166,  222 Richmond Avenue, Suite 2-102, Batavia, New York 14020.
