Margaret L. Ingersoll, 90 of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Friday February 28, 2020 surrounded by her family at Brothers of Mercy in Clarence. She was born August 22, 1929 in Sheldon, to the late Edgar (Caroline Smithley) Heintz. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Niles C. Ingersoll; daughter Patricia (Tom) Zak, grandson Chad Lynch, brother Jack Zittel, sister Dorothy Vetter, daughter-in-law Virginia Ingersoll.

Margaret worked as a Telephone Operator at NY Tel, GTE Sylvania, sold real estate and as a Ward Clerk at the VA in Batavia. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, an amazing cook and lived life to the fullest. Mrs. Ingersoll loved the Lord, family reunions and her many friends. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and family was everything to her.

She is survived by her children Niles E. Ingersoll of Jefferson City, TN; Mark (Vicki) Ingersoll of Pawleys Island, SC; Scott (Roseann) Ingersoll of Wheaton, IL; Robert (Gerry) Alexander of Corfu; Jo Ann (Marshall) Lynch of Smyrna, TN; sister-in-law Madonna Zittel; brother-in-law Richard Vetter; 17 grandchildren along with many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. An 11:00 AM Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 608 Centerline Road, Strykersville, NY 14145. She will be laid to rest in St. Johns Cemetery, Strykersville.
