Regina M. Meyer, 92 of North Java, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, Warsaw. She was born September 6, 1927 in Kansas City, KS to the late William (Margaret Murphy) McGee. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald Meyer in 1989, sister Kathryn (Dick) Schaefer, sisters-in-law Dorothy McGee, Rita (Darwin) George, brothers-in-law Warren Hunt, Norman (Teresa) Meyer, Elmer and Nelson Meyer.

Mrs. Meyer worked as a Telephone Operator in Arcade before she married Gerald and spent the rest of her life as a Farmer’s Wife. She was a member of Home Bureau, a 4-H Leader for many years and volunteered at the North Java Fire Hall. Mrs. Meyer was member of the St. Nicholas Church Lady of Lords, head of the Bereavement Committee and said the rosary at the nursing homes in Warsaw every Friday. Her faith was incredibly strong and so was the love she had for her family.

She is survived by her sons John Meyer of North Java; Paul (Darlene Thompson) of Bliss; David (Nancy) Meyer of North Java; brother William McGee of Arcade; sister Susan Hunt of Bergen; sisters-in-law Patricia Meyer of AZ; Nancy Farmer of FL; 6 grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday March 10, 2020 from 2-4 PM & 7-9PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. An 11:00 Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at St. John Neumann, 991 Centerline Road, Strykersville, NY 14145. She will be laid to rest in St. Nicholas’ Cemetery, North Java.
