Caryn P. Rosen, 68 of Amherst and formerly of Akron, passed away peacefully on Monday (March 9, 2020) at McAuley Residence in Kenmore, NY, under the care of Hospice.

She was born in Buffalo, NY on November 18, 1951, a daughter of the late Irving and Olive Bennett Domres.

Caryn was a caring individual who always went out of her way to help others. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed other activities such a playing board games, card games and gardening. With her late husband, she had a passion for motorcycle rides. Caryn was a Unit Secretary for Brother of Mercy Nursing Home and most recently at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Her loving heart will be dearly missed by her family and anyone who knew her.

She was predeceased by her husband, Spencer Rosen and son, Wayne Rosen.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (Kevin) Neumann of Tonawanda. Grandchildren, Amber and Gavin Neumann. Brother, Corrie (Sandra) Domres of Akron and Debbie Freudenheim of Cheektowaga. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are cordially invited to share thoughts, condolences and fond memories on Friday (March 13th) from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the J. LEONARD McANDREW FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 32 JOHN ST., AKRON, NY, where a funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will be in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Akron, NY.
