Batavia - Margaret E. Rumery, 92, of Batavia, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at United Memorial Medical Center.
She was born June 2, 1927, in Hermon NY, a daughter of the late Grant and Mamie Jones Blandin.
Her husband, Fay S. Rumery, passed away on August 24, 1994.
She is survived by her children; Stephen (Rosalind) Rumery of Batavia, David (Kathleen) Rumery of Delaware and Wayne (Laurie) Rumery of Florida. Five grandchildren Laura (Dave) Cardinal; David (Vanessa) Rumery; Barbra (Michael) Rumery; Brian (Stacey) Frieday and Eric Frieday; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters; Ruth Peters of Ohio and Vivian Kindinger of Illinois; along with nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her sister; Olive Case.
There will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery.
