Nancy Lee (Hellerman) Klawer, 72, of Catawba, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born on July 3, 1948, in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Francis J. and Ruth G.(Zimnick) Hellerman. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Hellerman and sister-in-law, Mary Hellerman.
Nancy graduated from Alexander Central High School.
Nancy is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, Alvin H. Klawer; daughters, Tammy (Robert) Kendall of Clayton, NC, Tracy (Timothy) Benson of Catawba, SC and Kelly Klawer of Catawba, SC; siblings, Barbara (James) Manes of Oakfield, Sharon Manes of Batavia and David Hellerman of Batavia; Eight grandchildren, Heather Rayburn, 1st Lt. Luke (Jessica) Benson, Ryan Kendall, Tyler Kendall, Chad Benson, Jennifer Benson, Nicholas Hastings and Devin Hastings; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her longest and dearest friend, Connie Spring of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call Thursday, August 6th from 11am to 1 pm at the C. B. Beach & Son Mortuary, Inc., 4 East Main Street, Corfu, NY. Burial will follow immediately in Hillside Cemetery, East Pembroke.
