Mrs. McCabe was born August 19th, 1939 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Herbert Clausius and Anna Harbison Clausius Lenz.
She was a member of the Batavia First Presbyterian Church and a retired nurse, having worked for many years in Dr. Khan's office.
Marilyn is the wife of the late Michael McCabe.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline M. Grasso of Rochester, Michael J (Nancy) Grasso of Scottsville and their children Gina and Jared Grasso, Jeffery A Grasso of Rochester and his children, Nicole Grasso, Brittany LaBore, and Adam LaBore, Wendy S. (Brian) Winslow of Scottsville and their children Mallory and Abigail Winslow; a sister, Barbara (late Larry) Hoffman; a sister-in-law, Mary Clausius of Rhode Island. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Clausius.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 1st, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main Street in Batavia. Marilyn's Funeral Service will be held privately. Burial will be in Grand View Cemetery in Batavia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Batavia First Presbyterian Church, 300 E.
