Margery F. Bridge

Margery F. Bridge, 78, of Batavia, passed away Monday, October 5, 2020, at United Memorial Medical Center, Batavia.
 
Marge was born on February 17, 1942 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Richard and Irma Stone Babel. She was predeceased in death by her brothers Ernie Babel and Charles Babel.
 
Marge worked as an accountant for the New York State School for the Blind in Batavia. She was a member of CSEA Union and the Corfu United Presbyterian Church. Marge was very talented at sewing and arts and crafts. Her beautiful handiwork was brought to life in the handmade puppets and stage she made for the Sunday School children at church and Marge helped them put on several productions. She also loved to collect and refurbish silhouette pictures.
 
Marge is survived by her daughter, Bonita (Aaron) Cornelius; her son, Aaron Bridge; her dedicated caregiver and companion, Robert Babel; her brother, Gary (Sue) Babel and her sisters, Sharon (Phil) Kennedy and Judy (late Dick) Rodgers. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 
Friends may call Friday, October 9, 2020, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the C. B. Beach & Son Mortuary, Inc., 4 East Main Street, Corfu. A brief prayer service will follow at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Corfu.
