Brinda C. Allen

Brinda C. Allen, 77 of Batavia, died on Friday, October 30, 2020 at United Memorial Medical Center after a short illness (not Covid-19). She was born on July 22, 1943 in Bristol, TN to the late James P. Childress and Elizabeth Fox Childress. She is predeceased by her husband; David V. Allen who died on September 23, 2007; great-grandson Kaleb Cere.  

She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, loving friend to all who knew her. She owned The Hobby Hut in Attica. Brinda was involved with her husband in REACT, enjoyed spending time with family, bowling, traveling, crafts, sewing, and crocheting. She formerly resided at the Manor House where she was involved in Knit it Forward, making crochet squares and afghans for Roswell Hospital.

She is survived by her children; Susan (Del) Howard whom she resided with, Stephanie Laskowski, Tim Allen, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, close friends Judy Robinson and Wilma Meyers.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
