James Warren Palmer

Bergen - James Warren Palmer, 92 of Bergen, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, (November 19, 2020) in Spencerport.

Mr. Palmer was born December 28, 1927 in Deposit, New York a son of the late Elmer S. Palmer and Katheryn (Middaugh) Palmer.

James was a life-long truck driver and enjoyed traveling with his wife.  He enjoyed the friendships he made during his daily trips to the Bergen Farm Market Family Restaurant.  

James is the husband of the late Barbara Palmer who passed away July 13, 2020. The two were married June 27, 1953 in Christ Episcopal Church in Deposit.  

Surviving are his son, Robert B. Palmer and his children, Jason (Gina) Palmer and Robyn Palmer; son, Richard W. (Patricia) Palmer and their children, Jessica (Shawn) McAlister and Katheryn Palmer; great grandchildren,  Liam, Owen, Abigail, Collin, and Gabriella; a brother, George (Betty) Palmer; and his sweet canine companion, Precious.  

He is preceded in death by a son, James W. Palmer, Jr., and siblings,  Isabelle, Abby, Charles, Ralph, Ruth, Lorena, and Albert.

There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Brockport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bergen Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 428, Bergen, New York 14416.
