Roy Lee Taylor

Batavia - Roy Lee Taylor, 63, of Batavia, passed away on Sunday, (November 22, 2020) at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo.

Mr. Taylor was born October 14, 1957 in Medina, a son of the late Edison Taylor and Luella (Reese) Taylor.

Roy was a member of Glad Tidings Church in Medina.  He enjoyed being outdoors, working in his yard, gardening, and fishing.  He deeply loved his children and grandchildren. .  

He is survived by his significant other Kim Nesbitt of Batavia; sons, Roy Lee Albert (Lesley Wood) Taylor of Batavia, Timothy (Ruth Simmons) Taylor of Rochester, and Derrek (Jennifer Ruble) Taylor of LeRoy; step-children, Stephanie (Ron Lambright) Parsons of Florida, Steven Nesbitt of Batavia, and Scott Nesbitt of Arizona; a grandson, Perry Taylor; step-grandchildren, Christopher Nesbitt, Bianca Parsons, Sadie and Abigail Nesbitt, Kianna and Anthony Nesbitt, and Ben Lambright; brothers, Larry, Ricky, and Michael Taylor; sisters, Valerie Munroe, and Sandra Carroll.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Roy is preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie, Kenny, and Johnny Taylor.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, (November 30, 2020)  from 3:00 pm  to 7:00 pm  at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St. in Batavia. Roy 's Funeral Service will be private. Burial will be in Boxwood Cemetery in Medina. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Kidney Fund at www.kindeyfund.org.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, the funeral home will be restricted to 33% occupancy during visitation. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
