William "Dennis" Barren

William "Dennis" Barren, 73, of Batavia, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at home under the care of his family.

William was born May 16, 1947, in Buffalo, a son of the late William and Marjorie (Harrington) Barren.

He was a member of the City Church in Batavia and a 15-year member of the Attica Fire Department.  William was a welder/fabricator at Graham Corporation in Batavia.  He will be remembered as a genuine and gentle person, who would always let you know that "I've got a tool for that."

Surviving are his wife, Tammy (Ferraro) Barren of Batavia; children, William Barren of West Seneca, Eric (Olivia) Barren of Bennington, Courtney (fiancé Colin Arthur) Barren of North Chili and Lisa Bucierka of Buffalo; grandchildren, Katie, Riley, Owen, Ileana, Eve, Amanda, William and Jillian; sisters, Diane (Orrin) Catlin of Cheektowaga and Debra (Russell) Burch of Buffalo and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Larson.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia.  William's funeral services will be held privately.

The funeral home will be operating at 25 people at a time per Genesee County guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory. You may be required to wait outside.
