Joyce Ann Roby, 85 of Batavia and formerly of Lima, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (April 7, 2021) at her residence.

She was born December 19, 1935 in London, Ohio, a daughter of the late Maxwell and Edith Knedler Snyder.

Joyce loved to sing in her church choir at New Creation Lutheran Church and was a member of the Sweet Adeline's group. She was a beautiful painter and loved to paint woodworking her husband would build for her.  She loved spending time with family and friends to whom she was devoted to.

She was known for her silly sense of humor and was an avid dominos player.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Charles E. Roby of Batavia. Children, Stephen (Doveina) Roby of London, OH, Deborah (Steven) Alloway of Huntsville, OH, David (Jennifer) Roby of Bluffton, OH and Janine (David) Fagnan of Batavia. Sister, Brenda Smith of London, OH. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Edna Mae Baum and brother, Leroy Snyder.

Services will be held in Ohio at a later date and time to be announced.
