Rose Marone (Gaeta), age 98 of Batavia, NY passed away April 11, 2021. She was born in Batavia on June 30, 1922 to the late Anna and John Gaeta. In addition to her parents, Rose is predeceased by her beloved husband; Angelo "Shieko" Marone; sisters Sarah (Joe) Mangefrida and Marion (Joe) Mancuso, and her brothers Calvin (Dee) Gaeta and Harry Gaeta
She was a graduate of Batavia High School and later served as an Administrative Assistant at Doehler Jarvis. Rose was especially known for her hospitality and always welcoming friends and family with open arms, fresh brewed coffee, and store bought cookies!
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express extreme gratitude and thanks for the wonderful loving care given by The Manor House and LeRoy Village Green where Rose spent the last several years of her life.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life to take place this summer.
