Richard C. Redinger

Bergen - Richard C. Redinger, 68 of Bergen passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, (April 20, 2021) at his home.

Mr. Redinger was born January 19, 1953 in Batavia, a son of the late Richard A. and Eleanor (Henry) Redinger.

Richard was a simple man who enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. An avid outdoorsman, he liked to hunt and work in his garden. He had a wonderful sense of humor and laugh. Mr. Redinger greatly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his children, Brenda (John Buettner) Redinger and Kevin Redinger; grandchildren, DeeAnna (fiance Steve Breitenborn) Redinger, and Madison Warney; a great-granddaughter, Ava Jane Breitenborn; sisters, Darlene (Jeff) Lemcke, Dawn (late Chet) Cratsley, Donna (Ken) Shady, and Diane (Pete) Whyman. The mother of his children, Robin Redinger Sword and many nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Carol Austin.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, (April 25th, 2021)  from 1 to 4 pm at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake Street in Bergen.
