JoAnne C. Doll

JoAnne C. Doll (née Clark), 74, of Attica, NY passed away on Thursday April 29, 2021 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.  JoAnne was born July 12, 1946 in Buffalo as the youngest of four daughters to Eileen Mae Clark (née Stuart) and Edward Holt Clark.  She is preceded in death by her sister Jane (late Jack) Schreiner.  Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Henry E. Doll of Attica, and two sons, Edward Doll of Hamburg, NY, and Robert (Alicia) Doll of Pittsburgh, PA.  JoAnne is also survived by sisters Mary (late Irving) Levin of Issaquah, WA and Judith (late Edward) Griese of Morrisville, grandson Theodore, and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

JoAnne held a degree in Physiotherapy from Ithaca College and spent years caring for patients in New York City, St. Jerome Hospital in Batavia, Genesee County Health Department, local school districts, and private client consultation.  She was an avid reader, traveler, florist by family trade, and pursued hobbies of antiquing, gardening, beekeeping, and raising chickens.  She was a devoted wife and caring mother.  

JoAnne was a longtime resident of Attica where she was active in the Saints Joachim and Anne (formerly St. Vincent de Paul) Roman Catholic Church.  Her faith, work ethic, and love of community were evident in years of service as a member of the church altar rosary society, funeral luncheon committee, and many fundraisers.  Through the years, JoAnne was a volunteer at Genesee-Wyoming Catholic Central School, the Attica Historical Society, the Veterans Administration, and other local charitable activities.  She was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Mary Jemison Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, Alice Putnam Chapter of the National Society Colonial Dames of the Seventeenth Century, and Red Hat Society.  

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011.  A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11 AM at Saints Joachim and Anne Roman Catholic Church, 50 East Avenue, Attica, NY 14011.  JoAnne will be laid to rest at Brant Cemetery in Brant, NY.
