Della held many administrative positions through her career and retired from NYS Correctional Department at Attica State Prison.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dawn (Richard) Harvey of Lancaster, siblings, Charles Lapp of Darien Center, Gwenn Amedick of Springfield, VA, grandsons, Jeremy (fiancée Sarah Piasecki) Harvey, Sean (Amy) Harvey, one niece and two nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 4 to 8 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC, 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. An 11:00 AM Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Bennington.
Face coverings and social distancing will be required at the Funeral Home, thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
