Richard F. Cole

Oakfield - Richard F. Cole, 78 of Oakfield, passed away on Tuesday, ( June 8, 2021) at United Memorial Medical Center.

Mr. Cole was born December 1, 1942 in Batavia, a son of the late Floyd and Roberta (Dixon) Cole.

Richard retired from Niagara Mohawk.  He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Oakfield Rod & Gun Club.  He enjoyed hunting, tractors and had a knack for fixing anything.  Richard will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone and his great sense of humor.

Richard is survived by his wife, Barbara (Scroger) Cole of Oakfield; his daughters, Rachel (Thomas) Fogerty of Columbus, Ohio, and Alicia (Scott) Cook of Oakfield; grandsons, Devin and Colin Fogerty, and Mason Cook; sisters, Cheryl (Ken) Moore, and Susan (David) Mudrzynski both of Elba; a sister-in-law, Sharon Cole of Elba. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Gerald and Wayne (late Susan) Cole.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, New York 14020.
