Wyoming/Ocklawaha, FL - Sandra J. Van Buren, 78 of Ocklawaha, Florida and formerly of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, (June 20, 2021) at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo.
Sandra was a member of the Morning Star Cowboy Church in Florida. Sandra and her husband, Doc were foster parents to many children over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding.
Surviving is her husband, Delbert "Doc" L. Van Buren of Ocklawaha, Florida; children, Kimberly (Dennis) Osborne of Buffalo, Scott (Karen) Van Buren of Wyoming, and Wyatt (Eilah) Van Buren of East Bethany; step-children, Amy (Allen) Wright of Bethany, and Kelly (Kerri) Page of Linden. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Sandra is preceded in death by several siblings.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, (June 27th, 2021) from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia. Sandra 's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Stafford Rural Cemetery in Stafford.
