josephineakozlowski.jpgJosephine A. Kozlowski, 92 of Batavia, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Brothers of Mercy in Clarence. She was born December 24, 1928 in LeRoy to the late John (Frances Marino) Joy. She is preceded in death by husbands, Carl F. Colantonio, Dominic Barone and Stanley Kozlowski, grandchildren, Matthew, Peggy Colantonio, Angela, Scott Bakker; siblings, Joseph, Benny, Charlie, Mary, and Savina Joy.

Mrs. Kozlowski worked for many years at PW Minor and the Batavia Nursing Home. She was a member of Resurrection Parish. Mrs. Kozlowski was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Josephine is survived by her beloved children, Carl (Debra) Colantonio of Alabama, Jack Colantonio of Massachusetts, Paula (Han) Bakker of Batavia, Larry (Cheryl) Colantonio of Florida, sister Rita DiFrancisco of LeRoy, 7 grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon) Pio, John (Fiancé Cassie Carlsen) Bakker, Melissa Penman, Larry Colantonio Jr., Christopher Colantonio, Tiffany Colantonio, Carl (Christine) Colantonio, 8 great-grandchildren, Eva, Christopher, Cameron, Katie, Nicole, Ashley, Angus and Piper, step-children, Dominic (Debbie) Barone Jr., David Barone, Michael (Debbie) Barone, MaryAnn Moyers, along with many nieces and nephews.  

Friends are welcome to attend a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Resurrection Parish, 303 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
