John G. Kindig

John G. Kindig, 63 of Batavia, passed away Friday (August 13, 2021) at the Erie County Medical Center.

He was born June 18, 1958 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, a son of Margaret Laidacker Kindig of Endicott, NY and the late William Kindig.

John had a strong faith and enjoyed his time at the First Presbyterian Church in Batavia. He found great joy in helping others and was passionate about the church's Alzheimer's Respite Program. He was an avid antique dealer and belonged right on American Pickers. John was a loving father and devoted his life to his children and family.

Survivors include his daughter, Alexis Kindig of Quincy, MA. Son, John W.D. Kindig of Batavia. Mother, Margaret Kindig. Sister, Kristine (Dennis) Sexton of Greene, NY and nieces Sarah and Sadie. 

Calling hours for those who wish to share their respects and memories of John will be held on Thursday, August 19th at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 East Main St., Batavia, NY. Family and friends are cordially invited to share in a Memorial Service to follow at 12 PM. 

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28.
