Mrs. Warren was born on February 5, 1928 in Batavia, to the late A. Sidney and Mildred (Cotton) Pratt. She was married to her loving husband Augustus C. Warren who passed away in 2014.
Laura worked for many years as Head Seamstress for C.L Carr Co. in Batavia, NY. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. Laura and Gus were Caretakers at Godfreys Pond for many years.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Dana) Warren of Batavia, Kathie (Richard) Holzschuh of Brockport, David (Kelly) Warren of Bergen, and Wendy (Benjamin) Ritzenthaler of Shortsville, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Annette Warren, her sister Barbara Magel of Auburn and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Warren, siblings: Leslie Pratt, Maryann Waasdorp and Helen Rosocoff.
There will be no visitation. Family and close friends are invited to attend Laura’s funeral service on October 2, 11:00 am at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alexander. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice or a charity of your choice.
