Marion E. Kohl

butterfly.jpgMarion E. Kohl, 102, of Rochester, formerly of LeRoy, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at St. Ann’s Community Home in Rochester. She was born May 22, 1919 in Syracuse to the late George and June (Babcock) Cook. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harold J. Kohl Sr. and a grandson J.D. Kohl.  

Mrs. Kohl retired after many years as a Registered Nurse at Lakeside Hospital in Brockport. She will be missed for her crocheting and knitting talents. She donated countless afghan’s, mittens, hats and other items to local nursing homes, the Batavia VA Medical Center and LeRoy Rotary Club.    

Mrs. Kohl is survived by her children, Glenda (Dean) Bangs of East Bethany, Harold J. Kohl Jr. of NC, two grandchildren, Tammy (Mike) Polzin and Ted Pierce, and two great-grandchildren, Andrew Polzin and Torie Polzin.   

There will be no prior calling hours, services will be held privately for the family.
