Karen L. Loos

East Aurora – Karen L. Loos, age 49, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in the town of Lancaster.

She was born on August 18, 1972, in Cheektowaga, a daughter of Mary Ella Moxham Loos of Batavia and the late Roger A. Loos.

She is survived by the love of her life of the past 15 years, Gary Ressler; her children, Jesse (Emily) Loos, Nicholas Loos and Amanda Hollingsworth; her grandson, Dante Hollingsworth; her siblings, Jeffrey (Linda) Loos, Shannon (Late Richard) Guiste, Michele (Jim) Lucki and Stacy Jouppi, aunts, Linda (Anthony) Buzzell and Carolyn (Ken) Barber; uncles, Norman (Carol) Loos and Linnus (Sue) Loos along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 31 Washington Avenue, Batavia, where her memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Iroquois Unified Sports, in care of Sean Lauber, 211 Girdle Road, Elma, New York 14059.
