T.J. was born on November 7, 1964, in Batavia, a son of the late Frederick Shaut, Sr. and Arleda “Pete” Lynk Shaut.
A diehard fan of the New York Yankees, T.J. loved to cook, enjoyed a cold beer and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sister, Tammy Samanka of Batavia; nieces and nephews, Wayne Samanka, Courtney Samanka, Kali Samanka and Jessica Shaut; four great-nieces and great-nephews and longtime family friend, Bill Preston.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Fred Shaut and Raymond F. Shaut.
There are no prior visiting hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials in his name may be made to The Meals on Wheels Program, in care of the Batavia Senior Center, 2 Bank Street, Batavia, New York 14020.
