Margaret S. Macioszek

Oakfield - Margaret S. Macioszek, 83 of Oakfield, passed away on Monday, (March 21, 2022) at her home.

Mrs. Macioszek was born January 19, 1939 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Thomas and Gerda (Meyers) Martin.

Margaret enjoyed bird watching, working crossword puzzles, crime shows, and the cooking channel. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing, and gardening.

Margaret is the wife of the late Patrick M. Macioszek who passed away in 1986.

Surviving are her children, Ronda (William, Sr.) Semar of Oakfield, and Martin Macioszek, I of Oakfield; grandchildren, William (Sarah) Semar, Jr., Russell (Emily) Semar, Cassandra Semar, Martin Macioszek, II, and Michael Macioszek; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (late Alice) Martin; sisters, Barbara (late Donald) Endres, Patricia Phillips, and Kathleen Herman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas (late Joann) Martin, and Ronald (late Janet) Martin; sisters, Gerda (late David) Watts, and Donna (late Robert) Beyer.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, (March 25, 2022)  from 4 to 6 pm  at Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue in Oakfield, where Margaret's Funeral Service will immediately follow calling hours at 6 pm.  Burial will be in Reed Cemetery in Oakfield.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.  Please leave a condolence, share a story, or light a candle at www.bataviafuneralhomes.com.
