Oakfield- Yvonne M. Beverly, 74 of Oakfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 7, 1947 in Batavia, New York to the late Joseph Cardinali and Jennie (Galline) Nesbitt. Yvonne is predeceased by her parents and her favorite dog Dakota.
 
Yvonne loved fiercely and was everyone’s “Nana”.  She was a dedicated wife and mother who gave selflessly.  She enjoyed spending time with her family & friends and was proud of her children and grandchildren.  Everyone who met her loved her heart, her wit and her sassiness.  She was an amazing cook and the kitchen was the heart of her home.  The door was always open for anyone who entered.    
 
Yvonne is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Beverly and four children, Richard (Mary) Turi, Christine (Kevin) Fischer, Kerry (David) Beitz, and Kelly (Benjamin) Whitmore. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brian (Teresa) Fischer, Bradley (Jennifer) Fischer, Jennie (Steven) Hawkins, Ashley Jenks, Evan and Natalie Whitmore and great-grandchildren, Lauryn, Camden and Kinsley Hawkins, Jackson and Ellery Fischer, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Yvonne is survived by her brothers, Joseph (Sonny) and Sharon Cardinali and James Cardinali.
 
Family and Friends may call on Saturday (April 2, 2022) from 10 am to 12 noon at the Burdett & Sanford Funeral Home, 11 Maple Avenue in Oakfield. Yvonne’s Memorial Service will immediately follow visitation at 12 noon with Rev. Marty MacDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Cary Cemetery in Oakfield. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alliance Foundation at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton Street, Buffalo, NY 14263, to support the comforting services offered to patients by the therapy dogs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute that Yvonne loved during her appointments.
