She is survived by her daughter; Christina (Chris) Ekonomidis of New York City; siblings Jo Ann Toal of Byron, Keith (Adeline) Weinert of Byron, Kirk (Kim) Weinert of Limestone, NY., Kevin (Robin) Weinert of Batavia, Cheryl (Greg) Richenberg of Holley, Karl (Marilyn) Weinert of Byron and Jacqueline Ilazi of Bergen; grandchildren Rachel Cole, Joseph Cole and Sofia Ekonomidis, along with many nieces and nephews.
Sue was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends, and always cherished spending time with her beloved grandchildren. There are countless stories and wonderful memories for all of us to carry forward in loving memory of our beloved Mother, Friend, Grandmother, Aunt. A strong woman who lived her life with honor and kindness, she will be greatly missed.
Friends are invited to call on Friday April 8, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 7:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Sue will be laid to rest in Byron Cemetery.
