Robert Roy Aiken of Batavia, NY passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester at the age of 85.

He was born September 18, 1936 in Warsaw, NY a son of the late Harold Aiken and Louise (Safford) Griffith. He was a United States Navy Korean War Veteran and served from 1954-1958 and was a United States Air Force Vietnam Veteran and served from 1958-1966. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #1720 in Bliss, NY and was a former Commander, a member of AMVETS and the Bliss Masonic Lodge. He loved playing guitar, riding motorcycles and was a member of H.O.G.

He was a mechanic for National Fuel in Mineral Springs, NY.

He is survived by his children: Robi A. (Gregory) Aiken of Bliss, Tracey Olsowsky of Joliet, IL, Robert A. Aiken of Tucson, AZ, Becky J. (Todd Wallin) Aiken of Buffalo, Connie (Chuck) Embling of Mumford, David (Debbie Long) Gilbert of Bliss and Donna (George) Wright of Machias; also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wives: Sharon F. Conley, Eleanor J. Aiken and Sandy C. Aiken; his siblings: Loretta (Louie) Richnole and Lynn Aiken; as well as a grandchild.

Friends may call on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11am.
