Donald J. Palone

Donald J. Palone, 92, of Oakfield passed away on May 21, 2022. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked many years for GTE Sylvania and Doehler Jarvis. He was a member of St Padre Pio Parish and the American Legion. He enjoyed and loved his family and collecting antique car scale models.
He was predeceased by his Parents Joseph P. Palone Sr.; Gladys (Bordner) Palone; his wife of over 68 years Josephine (Galline) Palone; siblings Jeanette Palone; Geraldine (William) Smith; Joseph (Louise) Palone Jr.; Robert (Suzanne) Palone Sr.; and Son-In- Law, Michael A. McDonald.
He is survived by his daughter, Valerie (Michael) McDonald; Son, Dave (Debbie) Palone; Grandchildren Megan Palone and Shyanne (Ryan Palone) Garrett; Brothers William (Edie) Palone; Richard (Wilda) Palone; and, Sister Patricia (George) Murray, and many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
There are no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Padre Pio Parish, on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with internment in St Cecilia's Cemetery, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, NY 14125. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Cecilia's Cemetery Fund, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield, NY 14125 or the American Legion Post, Allegheny Road, Basom, N.Y. 14013.
