She was born October 6, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Ronald and Bernadette Campion Nugent.

Helen will be remembered as a very loving and caring mother and dear friend to many.  When you first met Helen, you knew that you had a friend for life.  She had so many passions in life to mention.  Her energy and compassion for people led her to nursing and eventually opening an adult care home, Elder Care, where she and her son, John, cared for so many and ran together from 1991 - 2004. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Boston and Las Vegas, casino trips, reading, gardening, was an animal lover and was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Boston Red Sox.  She was a great cook, especially known for her chicken cutlets and potato salad, and a lover of any music by John Tesh.

She will be sadly missed by her son and care provider, John Schutte of LeRoy; her daughter, Helen Remington of New Jersey and special friends, Missy Johnson and Kimberly Randall.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, June 11 from 3 ~ 7 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake St. Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where services will be held at 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Woodward Memorial Library, 7 Wolcott Street, LeRoy, NY 14482
