Lonnie Ford, III

Lonnie Ford, III, 51, of Batavia, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at his home.

Lonnie was born June 5, 1971 in Batavia, a son of Lonnie Ford, Jr. and Annie (Armstrong) Ford, of Batavia.

Lonnie was a member of Church of God and Christ.  He enjoyed football, wrestling, music, karate and breakdancing.  Lonnie loved people and always had a smile on his face.

Surviving along with his parents, are his daughter, Ivena (Leopol) Jean-Francois of Florida and a host of family and friends from Batavia and Hartford, Connecticut.

Preceded in death by his brother, Eddie James Ford and sisters, Elizabeth Ford and Chanelle Ford.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 516 Ellicott Street, Batavia, where Lonnie's funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. also on Saturday.  He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ford family.
