She was born on July 27, 1944 in Batavia, a daughter of the late George William Peck and Hilda Stobbs Carey Peck.
A long time private duty home healthcare aide, she served as President of the 8th District, Sons of the American Legion and was the Adjutant for Genesee County for the past few years.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Fox, Sr. who passed away on November 21, 2003 and her grandson, Justin Robert Baker.
Surviving are her best friend and soulmate, David G. Henry of Bergen; her daughter, Melissa L. (David) Waterman of LeRoy; five grandchildren, Samantha (Steven) Tyson of Bergen, Chad (Melissa) Waterman of Texas, Hillary (Heath) Bender of Meridale, Jillian (Nick) Nesbitt of Waterport and Amy (Mark) Herman of Warsaw; two great-grandchildren, Kane and Mace Tyson; her sister, Carol (Rudolph) Shook of Rockland, Maine along with several nieces and nephews.
There are no prior visiting hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest in Mount Rest Cemetery, Bergen. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, Sackett Merrill White Post #575, P.O. Box 207, Bergen, New York 14416.
