He was born November 14, 1939 in Batavia, a son of the late Lamont and Clara (Squires) Dills.
Lawrence enjoyed riding his Harley, scuba diving, skiing, rollerskating, traveling, working on cars and reading. He was a miner for 28 years at Retsof Salt Mines.
Surviving are his siblings, Pat (Wilbur) Lewis, Douglas (Maureen) Dills, Gary (Myrna) Dills, James Dills, Robert (Betty) Dills and Nancy (Steve) Rankin and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his parents, Lawrence is predeceased by his brother, John Dills.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
