Cheryl L Perry entered into rest Wednesday, August 3rd after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 26, 1948 to the late Ruth and Merrit Long, Cheryl was raised in East Bethany.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 50 years, John L. Perry; her four children, Amy Snyder of Depew, Craig Perry of South Dayton, Dale (Ashley) Perry of South Dayton, and Lisa (Steve) Barnum of Alden; her 3 sisters, Carol (George) Pursel of LeRoy, Jil Long of Tennessee and Nancy Castle-Scott of Tennessee; her 8 grandchildren, Chris, Allen, and Karen Snyder, Mackenzie, Juilanna and Dale Perry, Kennedy and Blake Barnum and several nieces and nephews. Cheryl was predeceased by her brother Ed Long.

Cheryl owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband John in addition to working as a nurse for over 40 years. Cheryl retired from the Batavia VA Hospital in 2012.

Cheryl loved her family, and lived to help them whenever and wherever she could. She loved to plan holiday celebrations, organize and decorate her family's houses, and spend time playing with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on August 13, 2022 beginning at 11:00AM at St. John Neumann Parish, St. Cecilia Site, 991 Centerline Rd. Sheldon, NY 14145. She will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Sheldon. There will be no prior calling hours; a reception will be held at the church hall following the burial proceedings.
