Elizabeth A. Walbridge (“Beth”)

Bergen - Elizabeth A. Walbridge (“Beth”), 66 of Bergen, passed away on Thursday, (July 28, 2022) at Hildebrandt Hospice Care Facility in Rochester.

Beth was born January 13, 1956 in Batavia, a daughter of the late John and Virginia (Hill) Smith.

She was a former member of the Morganville United Methodist Church, was a member of the Troutberg Homeowner’s Association, and was a supporter of the Arbor Day Foundation. Beth enjoyed gardening, flowers, and bird-watching. She cherished time spent with her two grandchildren and being at the Lake beach walking, having coffee and visiting with neighbors and friends. She was an avid New York Jets fan, and also liked to snowmobile, hunt, fish, and boat.

Beth is the wife of the late Allan Walbridge; mother of the late Joshua Richenberg, and daughter-in-law of the late Edward and Lee Walbridge.
Surviving is her son, Aaron (Felicia) Richenberg of Bloomfield; grandchildren Joshua and Jolena; brothers, John (late Roslyn) Smith of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Don (Linda) Smith of Mesa, Arizona, and Gregg Smith of Stafford; sisters-in-law, Sara Weylman of Warsaw, and Jan (Reggie) MacDonald of Stafford. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends also survive.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4 to 7:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street in Batavia.  A private Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, (August 13, 2022). Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery in LeRoy.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stafford Fire Department, 6153 Main St, Stafford, NY 14143 or Rochester Regional Health Foundations, 330 Monroe Avenue, Suite 400, Rochester, NY 14607 (write Hildebrandt Hospice on memo line).
