  Richard G. Wolff, 85, of Batavia passed away on August 23, 2022 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born on August 29, 1936 in Alexander to the late Getman and Marlene (Best) Wolff. In addition to his parents, Richard is predeceased by a daughter; Tammy Wolff; sister Regina (Stanley) Slivinski.

Richard worked for National Fuel Gas Company for over 40 years and was active in youth baseball and football for over 40 years. He is a member of the Batavia High School Hall of Fame and the Batavia Little League Hall of Fame. Richard was an avid New York Yankee fan.

He is survived by his loving wife; Linda (Jacobs) Wolff of Batavia; children Gregg (Tina) Wolff of Batavia, Mark (Fiancé Suzanne) Wolff of Brockport and Scott (Debra) Wolff of Batavia; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Monday August 29, 2022 (his 86th birthday) from 4:00-8:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. A 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday the 30th at Resurrection Parish 303 East Main St. in Batavia. ***New York Yankee attire is encouraged for his Funeral*** Richard will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery.
